Dear Valued Customers,

Due to recent frequent failures of the servers in the U.S. FMT region, our technical team has determined that the hardware is outdated and the system is no longer suitable for continued operation. Therefore, we have decided to make adjustments to the VPS services in this region.

Reason

The servers in the FMT region require replacement parts, but as we do not have the necessary parts stocked in that region, the repair process has been delayed. Additionally, considering the outdated hardware and system, we have decided to migrate the VPS services from the old FMT region to the SJC region. This will allow us to utilize a more advanced management system and unify management with the Hong Kong region.

Measures

Due to a shortage of IP resources, we have disabled IPv4 broadcasting in the FMT region. However, you can still access your VPS via IPv6 or VNC. If you wish to migrate your VPS to the SJC region, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://hk.skywolf.cloud/store/sjc-vps and select your preferred plan.
  2. Submit a support ticket at hk.skywolf.cloud, providing the following information:
    • Your IP address/Name Server (NS) from the old FMT site.
    • The plan you wish to migrate to at the new site.
    • Whether you require our assistance with data migration.
    • A screenshot of your payment record (if available) or the control panel screenshot.
  3. We will create a new product for you at the new site, migrate your IP, and compensate you with an additional month of service. The new product will be created on a monthly billing cycle; if you require any changes, please mention this in your ticket. Your remaining service time will be converted proportionally based on the original price to match the new product.
  4. After the migration is complete, we will terminate your product at the old FMT site. Therefore, if you do not require our assistance with data migration, please ensure that your data is backed up before submitting a ticket.

Note: The SJC region does not yet support IPv6, but this service will be available in the near future. We will notify you as soon as it is activated.

We understand that this migration may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for this. We appreciate your understanding and continued support. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our customer support team.

Thank you for your continued support!

Sincerely,

Skywolf Inc
